Meet the Editors

JUDITH WOLFE was born in Invercargill, New Zealand and now lives in Dunedin, New Zealand, with her husband Trevor Reeves. Judy is an artist and sculptor. She has exhibited widely throughout New Zealand and some of her works have been in travelling exhibitions overseas. Recent exhibitions at the Empire Cinema and guest artist at the Wanaka Art Group Exhibition, August 1997. Work under way now includes a three-panelled (8' x 4' each) panorama of early Dunedin for the 150th celebrations of the province. As well as illustrating work for SOR, Judy has done political cartoons and strips, and experiments in castings for models. Judy is also completing a novel, some 20 years in the making.


TREVOR REEVES was born in New Zealand in 1940. After a variety of occupations and study in business and management, he began writing in the mid-1960's. His work has been published in many magazines around the world over the past 30 years. Prose, fiction, poetry and articles etc. He began publishing in 1971, with an international magazine of the arts called "Cave". Poetry collections by many writers followed and then general books. Imported many books from the USA and the UK. Took to the Internet in 1995, seeing it as a way to foster writing more widely and efficiently than through paper publications. Has published three books of poems, non-fiction books, and a collection of stories is forthcoming. About 10 stories published on the net so far, and some poems. Edits Southern Ocean Review in collaboration with his wife, Judy Wolfe, artist.
