What is happening to Lake Mahinerangi?

The electricity market was de-regulated in October 1996. ECNZ and Contact Energy Ltd, plus other companies which are already in the market including Waipori Power, and other companies which may enter the market, will be actively competing for customers amongst the Power Supply companies.

We will keep up to date with events, and describe how it all goes in coming months, with updates of these pages (see February update, on the link, above, "About Contact Energy")
