Poem

      Someone

      He is tall and
      stoops over people
      as he walks behind
      them

      Everyone is fearful
      He is a man whose
      moods change too
      and fro

      but I like him
      and his lovely smile
      I like him
      stooping or not

      Someone needs to...

      Never Rise

      The river flows
      sunset setting
      upon it

      We sit, watch
      the yellow-orange
      bite the day

      Fish are still
      mingling
      downstream

      I could sit
      and watch
      this moving sight

      and never think
      to rise
      in the early morning
