Poem

      THE PENDULUM

      I sit and watch
      the sheets dry on
      the clothes line and

      think that one day I
      may not share them,
      be beneath them,
      with you.

      I am confused
      at the cards life
      is dealing me

      and wonder which
      way it will swing
      and I love you,
      and you

      and I will love
      you till I die.
