Poem

      Barney

I've lived abouts for a while now
      first in Poulson

then Wise St, since the missis died
      I've spent more

time in the Star, which isn't such
      a bad place

to be. sometimes, in the winter when
      you're coming

home & the sun's goin' down between
      Wood Brothers

Mill & the Railway Workshops 1
      think it's beautiful

just bloody beautiful ... & on Sundays
      1 have a meal

with the daughter & her old-man - never
      did get on

      with Denis; but we try.
