SEAN O'CONNOR Graduated from Massey University, B.A. - Studies in Fiction. 1989. M.A., - Studies in Fiction, University of East Anglia, Norwich, UK. Non-fiction writer and writer of short stories and alsofreelance journalist, Manawatu Evening Standard. Has written reviews of live and recorded music.
ALAN PAPPRILL was raised in Wanganui, the city that provides thesetting for the story, "Kidneys". Formed the Wanganui City Poets' group. Taught English in secondary schools in NZ. While overseas, taught in schools in South London and Wales.
RHONDA BARTLE is a New Zealand writer whose work has been broadcast on Radio NZ, published in Takahe and other places. Won third prize in the Star Sunday Times short story competition, 1998.
DWIGHT GEDDES is a New Zealander living and writing in the UK.

SIMON WILLIAMSON was born in Ngaruawahia, New Zealand and moved from Maori area to another duting his formative years. Wrote a play, Feast of Friends, that was staged. Founded Poetrycorp with Paul Dagarin and Mike Eager. Highly commended in numerous New Zealand and overseas competitions.

JUDITH WOLFE lives in Dunedin, New Zealand. She is an artist, designer and sculptor. She has exhibited widely throughout New Zealand and some of her works have been in travelling exhibitions overseas. Recent exhibitions at the Empire Cinema, guest artist at the Wanaka Art Group Exhibition, August 1997 and exhibited in the Warbirds Over Wanaka air show exhibition, Easter, 1998, and the Cleveland Art Awards, Dunedin, October 1998.
