About the Authors

JULES LEIGH KOCH was born in Sydney in 1958 and raised in Adelaide. Presently a part time School Service Officer at Ashfield Special School and a parent. Has lived and worked as agardener, house parent, farmhand and in childcare and also lived and worked on the North Island of New Zealand. Founding member of the Kensington / Norwood writing group in 1986 and along time member of the SA Writers Centre. he has been published in Redoubt, Matoid, Southerly, Hermes and Going Down Swinging.
DWIGHT GEDDES is an American living and writing in the UK.
MARK PIRIE is completing an M.A. at Otago University. Has a number of short stories and poems published. publisher and editor of Headworx publishers and editor of JAAM (Just Another Art Movement).
PATRICIA PRIME: Lives in Auckland, New Zealand. Well known for her Haiku and Haliban poetry, her work has been in various anthologies (including "Haiku Anthology" reviewed in this issue).
ROBERT JAMES BERRY: A Londoner living is Penang Island, in West Malaysia where he lectures in English, Literature and Language at the University of Science there. Has had poems published in England, New Zealand, Australia, Germany, Malaysia, Sweden, Trinidad
TREVOR REEVES: Editor and Publisher of Southern Ocean Review and poet - writer of short stories that have appeared in print and electronic magazines widely.

D. F. LEWIS was born in 1948, in Essex, England. Over 1,200 stories have been published in printed books and magazines since 1978. Five years in "Years Best Horror Stories". Published in London Magazine, Panurge, Stand, Orbis, Iron etc.
PAULO da COSTA lives in Alberta, Canada and edits "Filling Station".
McCormick lives and writes in Auckland, New Zealand.
NICK CARDING is an Englishman now living in The Netherlands. His poetry, short fiction and travel writing have appeared in print and on-line in New Zealand, Australia, Great Britain and the USA.
TRINA STOLEC: Lives in Ohio, USA. Has has many poems published on-line including Black Cross, Eclectica, EWG Presents, Free Cuisenart, Recursive Angel, Spilled Ink, Southern Ocean Review and Tome Of Literati.
ROBYN McLEOD Lives and writes in Auckland New Zealand.
PAUL PROCISSI born 1955, Detroit, USA. Has worked as a consultant and teacher, now in the moving business.
JEFFREY HOLMAN is an honours student at Canterbury University, Christchurch, New Zealand. Also a publisher, Nga Kupu Press.
TREVOR POULTNEY lives in USA.
JANET BUCK teaches writing and literature at college level in the USA. Her homepage has received over 30 awards. Her poems have been published widely, and has been afeatured poet for magazines such as Seeker Magazine, Vortex, Conspire and others. her first collection, Calamity's Quilt is due shortly.
ROBERT JOHNSTON: lives in Dunedin, New Zealand, where he teaches, writes and studies.
WENDY A. HOWE lives in Wallkill, New York working as a self-employed computer teacher. Her work has appeared in various portey anthologies in America. She hopes her literary themes will help transcend the mundane ways of life and enter a greater world of imagination.
GREGORY DALLY lives, works and writes in Christchurch, New Zealand.
TONY BEYER: Teaches at Auckland Grammar, Auckland New Zealand. His poetry has appeared in many journals and anthologies since 1971. Has also published a number of collections. Earlier, Jesus Hobo and The Meat, then Dancing Bear, The Singing Ground and Brute Music. and lately, The Century, and The Male Voice. A a short on line collection of his work is due soon to appear from Square One Press. JUDITH WOLFE lives in Dunedin, New Zealand. She is an artist, designer and sculptor. She has exhibited widely throughout New Zealand and some of her works have been in travelling exhibitions overseas. Recent exhibitions at the Empire Cinema, guest artist at the Wanaka Art Group Exhibition, August 1997 and exhibited in the Warbirds Over Wanaka air show exhibition, Easter, 1998, and the Cleveland Art Awards, Dunedin, October 1998, and the Colunma College exhibition 1999. A major retrospective exhibition is planned for August 2000 in Dunedin.
