About the Authors

A. L. DRINKWATER lives and writes in California, USA. JACK SMITH'S work has been published in The Southern Review, Happy, B&A: New Fiction, The Roswell Literary Review, Ceteris Paribus, and Savoy, with work upcoming at paperplates and Seed Cake. His reviews have been published in The Missouri Review, CrossConnect, The Texas Review, REAL, and Pleiades. He has co-authored an environmental book, which is to be published by Monthly Review Press in fall 2002. Also in the way of non-fiction, an article of his appeared not too long ago in Flying Horse. He teaches English and philosophy and edits The Green Hills Literary Lantern. ALEX KEEGAN is the pseudonym of Ron Jones, born Newport, Gwent 1947. Alex writes mystery thrillers but his real love literate fiction. Many stories published and a number of prizes. Edited editions of E-Scene and World Wide Writers. BRIAN W KEEN lives and writes in USA. JOHN AMEN'S poetry, fiction, and reviews have appeared in various publications, both online and in print, including Poetry Bay Magazine, The Adirondack Review, The Melic Review, Disquieting Muses, Poetry Magazine, Ludlow Press Journal, Thunder Sandwich, The Charlotte Observer, 2River View, Wilmington Blues, Stirring Magazine, Twilight Times, Independence Boulevard, C Magazine, and Sanskrit. He is editor in chief of the online literary bimonthly / The Pedestal Magazine, ANN NADGE lives and writes at Maroubra Beach, a suburb of Sydney, Australia. ADRIAN MANNING: Lives and writes, and teaches in Norfolk, UK. Has had poetry published in a number of magazines, in print and on-line. His first collection of poems is due out from Square One Press, NZ, in 2002. TONY BEYER teaches in Auckland, New Zealand and is well know as a poet over along period. He has several collections published and his work has appeared in many magazines and anthologies REBECCA LU KIERNAN is the editor of the print literary magazine, Gecko and Australian Gothica. Her poetry has been published recently in MS. Magazine, Gargoyle, On the bus, Rattle, Tundra and Southern Ocean Review. She lives in Lexington, .Kentucky, USA. KAY WHITTINGHAM kives and writes in South Boston, USA. MARY CRESSWELL Mary Cresswell is a science editor, once from Southern California, who lives on the coast north of Wellington, NZ. She has published in various Canadian, NZ and Australian journals LINCOLN JACQUES lives in Auckland New Zealand. He has been previously published in Poetry New Zealand and JAAM. Also has work accepted for 2002 Winter Spin. MARK PIRIE is completing an M.A. at Otago University. His latest book of poems, The Blues has just been recently published. JOHN ALLISON is a Christchurch, New Zealand poet with several collections to his credit. He is now living, writing and teaching in Melbourne, Australia. LEONARD LAMBERT is older than he should be but not as wise or well-known. He lives in Mt. Maunganui, NewZealand. SCOTT is an African American jazz poet, born in Cordele, Georgia, USA. His work has been published in magazines, journals and newspapers in New Zealand, Australia and the U.S.A. He has also had 15 books of poetry and prose published, dealing with subjects ranging from his childhood in the American South of the 1950's to his experience in the Vietnam War and his involvement in the civil rights struggle in the 1960's and '70's. ROBERT JAMES BERRY: A Londoner who was living is Penang Island, in West Malaysia where he lectured in English, Literature and Language at the University of Science there. Now living back in London. Has had poems published in England, New Zealand, Australia, Germany, Malaysia, Sweden, Trinidad TREVOR REEVES: Editor and Publisher of Southern Ocean Review and poet - writer of short stories that have appeared in print and electronic magazines widely. JANET BUCK teaches writing and literature at college level in the USA. Her homepage has received over 30 awards. Her poems have been published widely, and has been afeatured poet for magazines such as Seeker Magazine, Vortex, Conspire and others. her first collection, Calamity's Quilt is due shortly. JUDITH WOLFE lives in Dunedin, New Zealand. She is an artist, designer and sculptor. She has exhibited widely throughout New Zealand and some of her works have been in travelling exhibitions overseas. Recent exhibitions at the Empire Cinema, guest artist at the Wanaka Art Group Exhibition, August 1997 and exhibited in the Warbirds Over Wanaka air show exhibition, Easter, 1998, and the Cleveland Art Awards, Dunedin, October 1998, and 2001 Also the Columba College exhibition 1999.
